You’ll recognize the name Corban Campbell from the pages of TSJ. He’s a frequent byline as a contributing photographer and a Portfolio alum. His talent isn’t exclusively behind the camera—he’ll thread heavy water beachbreak barrels on self-shaped step-ups, spear sea hogs, and pour you a damn fine cup of coffee at Ventura’s Singing Sun café. His new film, White Cap, co-directed by George Trimm, documents his latest maritime endeavors as a nascent boater. With the eye of an artist and a taste for adventure that teeters on the brink of disaster, Campbell invites the viewer along for a hectic, sublime, and sometimes hilarious ride.
Hit play and enjoy this exclusive screening now through April 12.
