The subscriber screening of ZONE FREQUENCY has ended.
Directed, shot, and edited by Jack Coleman—recent TSJ subject and lensman responsible for some of the most intriguing and critically acclaimed independent surf films of the last decade.
Named “Best Picture” at both the Florida Surf Film Festival and the London Surf Film Festival in 2019, ZONE FREQUENCY is 45-minutes of aesthetically pleasing wave riding from pristine Australian points to pumping Pipeline with alternative craft masters like Bryce Young, Ryan Burch, Derrick Disney, Ari Browne, Ozzie Wright, Asher Pacey, Robin Kegel, Andy Nieblas, Gavin Beschen, Eric Snortum, and Rangi Ormond.
Coleman cut and scored the film specifically to ease feelings of anxiety. It’s a sentiment that might do us all some good in this uncertain present.
“It started in 2016, when I had my first panic attack,” says Coleman. “So, that’s what led me into researching sounds and frequencies that emit proper vibration. ZONE FREQUENCY is family, friendship, love—and how surfing is intertwined. Every shot in the movie has a meaning and a purpose to it.”
