“1936-1942 San Onofre to Point Dume” began as the concept of Santa Barbara designer Tom Adler and was fueled by Don James’ interest in having his considerable body of seminal works be accessible. Adler combed the good doctor’s photo archives and selected a rather reserved but intensely evocative span of his black & white visual memoirs for publication.
