North Shore lifeguards Jeff Johnson and Todd Sells and pro surfer Chris Malloy traveled to a remote tropical coastline in Hawaii with the only belongings that they could tow on vintage surf mats during a miles-long swim and hike. Once they reach the mythical, remote place called “The Coast,” the three travelers forage for food, water, run into a white tip reef shark when spear-fishing, sleep in a cave and body surf open ocean swell waves that were “heavier than Waimea shorebreak.”
