Graphic designer, art director and surfer David Carson is known for taking an original and sometimes jarring approach to design. Surfer’s Journal allowed Carson to rummage through photo files and put together a 25-page spread ranging from nostalgic looks at Ron Stoner’s work and the longboard era, to avante garde perspectives of today’s surfing.
