This incredible video of The Camel, a surfer as legendary for his easy attitude as his commitment in left-tubes of consequence, is just in from frequent contributor Yasha Hetzel. Shot in Western Australia by a guy named Wes. Hetzel's email correspondence, follows:

Hi,

We are going to go out on tuesday...so one more day here in carnarvon. All is good. maybe talk tomorrow morning. Today was busy to get everything organised. Then in the afternoon we went to look at the Club Dalmatcija...not very well used any more these days.

Camel is here in town and he had some video of one wave he connected thru from centre's through tombies. people were calling it the best wave they'd ever seen. you see the guys sitting at the normal takeoff at tombies and he is already way back in the tube. he's pretty stoked. has watched the video about 20 times on my computer.

anyways. time for bed.
