Check this unique commercial documentary period piece, Mountain of Storms. Filmed during a mid-60s surfing/climbing trip from Ventura to Patagonia, it offers an early look at Chicama, and features the surfing of young Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins. That trip was recently reprised by Jeff Johnson and the Brothers Malloy, to be seen in the upcoming film, 180 South.
